Worker Terms
Effective date: Controlled beta
These additional terms apply if you use SkillStack as a Worker.
1. Independent contractor
You are an independent contractor, not a SkillStack employee. You set your own rates, hours, and which jobs to accept.
2. Verification
You must complete identity verification and provide accurate credentials. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal.
3. Passport & reviews
Completed jobs, client reviews, and outcomes are recorded in your SkillStack Passport and may be shown to prospective clients.
4. Payment features
Booking and payment features are not active during controlled beta. Any future payment terms, fees, and release rules will be presented to you before they become active, and you will need to accept them at that time.
5. Acceptance timer
When you are assigned a job, you have a limited window to accept it. Missing the timer returns the job to the marketplace and may affect your standing.
6. Conduct & safety
Treat clients respectfully. Follow safety, licensing, and insurance requirements for your trade in your jurisdiction. SkillStack does not provide licenses or insurance for you.
