Cancellation Policy
Effective date: Controlled beta
Client bookings and payment features are not active during controlled beta, so this policy does not apply to any current activity. It describes the planned rules that will apply when booking features are launched.
Before work starts
- Client cancels >24h before scheduled start: full refund minus payment processing fees.
- Client cancels <24h before start: worker receives a partial cancellation fee (default 20%) to protect them from lost time.
- Worker cancels before start: full refund to client; repeated cancellations may affect the worker's standing.
After work has started
Cancellations after work is in progress are handled through the Dispute Policy, based on scope and completed portion.
