This Privacy Policy explains what personal data SkillStack collects, why, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data we collect
- Account details: name, email, role (worker or client), profile.
- Verification data: identity documents and credential information you upload.
- Booking data: job details, messages, agreements, reviews, and payment status.
- Payment data: processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we store references, not full card numbers.
- Usage & device data: IP address, browser, and interactions with the service.
2. How we use it
To operate the marketplace, match jobs to workers, process payments, prevent fraud, communicate with you, and comply with law.
3. Sharing
We share limited data with service providers (payments, email, hosting, verification) under contract. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention
We retain account and booking records for as long as your account is active plus a reasonable period required for legal, tax, and dispute resolution purposes.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data by emailing support@skillstack.life.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, row-level authorization, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected vulnerabilities to support.
